HYPHO

Hypho is a British electronic music producer, DJ, and founder of Manuka Records, a forward-thinking label he launched in 2018. Originally from Carlisle, UK, Hypho has emerged as a key figure in the evolution of underground electronic music, blending deep dubstep, UK garage, breakbeat, and techno into a style that’s uniquely his own. His productions are defined by dark textures, percussive energy, and a commitment to pushing boundaries within bass-driven music.

With releases on iconic imprints such as Swamp81, Deep, Dark & Dangerous, Deadbeats, Infernal Sounds, SubCarbon, and Glitch Mob’s All The People, Hypho has established himself as a sought-after artist in the global underground scene. His tracks have gained support from influential names like Skream, Jackmaster, Truth, Loefah, The Widdler, and Stanton Warriors, while his sound continues to evolve across dancefloors and sound systems worldwide.

Hypho’s dynamic DJ sets and extensive touring have taken him to major festivals and clubs across Europe, North America, and Asia, where he’s known for high-energy performances that cross genres and captivate crowds. In 2020, he was awarded Best Upcoming Producer and Best Unreleased Track at the Duploc Dubstep Awards, and was later named “One to Watch” by UKF in 2021. That same year, his single “Sufferin’” was featured in Mixmag’s Best Tracks of the Year, cementing his role as a leading voice in the underground scene.
